This Privacy Policy describes how Boise Marketing Guy (“BMG”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit boisemarketingguy.com, contact us, book a call, or engage our services. We wrote it to be readable. If anything is unclear, email dwight@boisemarketingguy.com and we will explain it.
Boise Marketing Guy is the trade name of Dwight Davis Consulting LLC, a digital marketing consultancy based at 999 W Main Street, Suite 100, Boise, ID 83702. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” in this policy mean Dwight Davis Consulting LLC. References to “you” mean a visitor to our site, a person who contacts us, or a client we serve.
When you reach out, through our website, by email, by booking a call, or as part of an active engagement, we collect the information you choose to share. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the name of your business, and any details about your goals or current marketing situation.
When you visit boisemarketingguy.com, our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, browser type and version, device type, the pages you view, the time of your visit, and the referring URL if any. These logs are used to operate the site, diagnose errors, and detect abuse.
We use Calendly to schedule calls. When you book a time, Calendly collects information directly from you, including your name, email, calendar availability, and any responses to questions in the booking flow, and shares the resulting appointment details with us. Calendly’s own privacy practices govern that collection. See calendly.com/privacy.
If we add analytics, advertising measurement, or other third-party tools in the future, we will update this policy and disclose what those tools collect.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not use your inquiry information to market unrelated products to you.
BMG works with a network of fulfillment partners who deliver some of the services we offer. When an engagement begins, the information needed to do the work is shared with the specific partners assigned to your account. These partners are bound by written confidentiality terms and are permitted to use the information only to perform the work for which they were engaged.
We rely on a small set of service providers to operate the business, for example, our website host, our email provider, and Calendly for scheduling. These providers process information on our behalf, only as needed to provide the service to us, and under their own published privacy and security commitments.
We may disclose information if required by law, by a valid legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to investigate fraud, protect our rights, or protect the safety of any person.
If BMG is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will use reasonable steps to require that the receiving party honor the commitments in this policy or notify you of any material change.
Our site uses a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the site, remember your preferences during a visit, and protect against abuse. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies on boisemarketingguy.com.
The Calendly widget on our contact page sets its own cookies when loaded. Those cookies are governed by Calendly’s privacy practices.
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals because no common standard for handling them is yet in place.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under California law, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information we hold about you, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. The site is served over HTTPS. Access to client data is limited to the people who need it to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we treat the protection of your information as part of doing business carefully.
We retain information for as long as it is needed to serve you and to maintain the records of our work. After an engagement ends, we typically retain related records for at least seven years to satisfy accounting, tax, and contractual record-keeping needs. Inquiry information from prospective clients is retained for a shorter period unless an engagement begins.
Our services are directed to businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact dwight@boisemarketingguy.com and we will delete it.
BMG is based in the United States and primarily serves U.S. businesses. By using the site or contacting us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States and is subject to U.S. law.
Our site may contain links to other websites we do not operate. This policy does not apply to those sites. We recommend reading the privacy practices of any third-party site you visit.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or communicated by another reasonable means.

We send SMS messages only to phone numbers that have explicitly opted in through one of our consent flows: the Maya chat widget on boisemarketingguy.com, the /contact/ form, the /customer-service/ form, or by a verbal/written agreement with Dwight.
SMS is delivered via Twilio. Our messaging service is registered with the Campaign Registry as an A2P 10DLC sole proprietor brand. Mobile information, including opt-in records and phone numbers, is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
